In the past laser pointers have been used to illustrate points during a slide presentation. However, it has never been possible to draw on the screen using the laser pointer. The Afterglow System makes it possible to draw directly on the screen and interact with the PC using a laser pointer.

Afterglow's built in Image Processing System uses the image captured by the USB camera to calculate the lasers position. The actual smooth feel of handwriting is maintained as Afterglow draws on the screen by following the movement of the laser on the screen.
